If you’re in to trucks, Jeeps, or anything offroad, chances are you’ve seen Dirt Every Day on the Motor Trend Channel of YouTube. Every 2 weeks, host Fred Williams a self proclaim hoarder of used 4×4 parts and vehicles comes up with something to build, wheel, or offroad event to check out. This week Fred’s Dirt Every Day episode was a reunion of the DirtHeads, an offroad club with 2 members consisting of himself and Dave Chappelle where the guys bought mini trucks to got 4wheeling. Fred’s truck was a 1972 Ford Courier converted over to 4WD. In place of the sketchy front mounted lift blocks Fred opted for a set BDS leaf springs. to give him the lift he was looking for able to take the abuse he had planned for the mini truck. In the episode titled “Mayhem to Moab” 4Wheel & Offroad Magazine’s editor Fred Williams buys a plain jane TJ nicknamed “tubesock” and in less than 2 weeks turned it into a capable trail rig to wheel out in Moab, UT for the 49th annual Easter Jeep Safari. The Jeep was outfitted with a long list of mods to include a BDS long arm kit with Fox shocks, Chris Durham Motorsports hood, Poison Spyder armor, Currie axles, ARB lockers, Pitbull tires and more.
