Wow, what a weekend! BDS took the short trip drive down from our home offices Michigan to meet up with thousands in Indianapolis for the Fall 4Wheel Jamboree Nationals. Held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, this year marked the 35th Anniversary of the event as thousands made their way to Indy for 3 days (and nights) of the four wheel drive festival. Despite some rain on Saturday, the weekend was filled with fun activities for the whole family. Activities included monster truck racing and freestyle, tough truck and UTV racing, burn out competition, show-n-shine, FOX proving grounds and massive vendor show. BDS was on site all weekend long hanging out in a killer spot just outside of the grand stands with sister company Zone Offroad and local dealer Elite Auto Image. All weekend long the booth was buzzing as participants stopped by the booth to check out all the bad ass rides on display, ask questions and take advantage of show specials. BDS Project Raider was on display outfitted with some prototype suspension upgrades rolling on 40s, ORO-Fab brought their monster of a RAM 3500 and Polaris General to display and Elite had a handful of awesome builds on display. Friday and Saturday Elite signed up fans for a chance to win build package that included a BDS lift kit, FOX shocks, Toyo tires, Moto Metal wheels, and free installation.
Around the show the fairgrounds were filled with tons of cool builds and one off creations. We spotted plenty of BDS around the show and thank all our customers that came out to show them off and stop by our booth to say hi. Check out some of our photos and video from the event below.
The 4Wheel Jamboree Nationals continue to be a stellar event series, bringing together a diverse group of trucks, Jeeps, and other 4×4 fanatics for a weekend of fun. The events are held throughout the warmer months in Bloomsburg, PA, Lima, OH and Indianapolis, IN. We’ve been attending these events for nearly 2 decades and although the event and the vehicles have changed over the years, it continues to be one hell of a good time. Held mid-September each year, the Indy 4Wheel Jamboree continues to be our favorite of the series. While we love them all, the people, the rides, and activities, the Indy show boasts the largest attendance with more than 4500 vehicles and 10,000 people in attendance, a great layout for activities and vendors, and a short 3.5 hour haul from our home office in Michigan.
This year continued to impress us with good weather for majority of the 3-day weekend, a huge turnout and great support from our local Indianapolis distributor, Elite Auto Image. The fairgrounds were filled with trucks taking part in the show-n-shine contest, tough truck racing, burnout competition, mud drags, and those that came to cruise around and show off their rides. FOX set up an offroad obstacle course for participants to try out and man headed to the grand stands to watch the monster truck action. The BDS booth was slammed all weekend long as people came by to check out the custom rides and take advantage of our show-only special offers. Along with Project Slate, we had Project Sinister on display all weekend long as well as other bad ass BDS equipped rides. The show runs Friday through Sunday, with various activities scheduled throughout the weekend. While Saturday continues to be the busiest day typically, Sunday brought quite a crowd to take part in the many activities highlighted by the XDP monster truck backflipping for the crowd and the Miss 4Wheel Jamboree bikini contest. A big thanks once again to everyone that made it out to the event, we had a blast! Check out some of the photos from the weekend below and to see more head on over to the BDS Facebook page.
After a weekend chocked full of 4WD entertainment in Bloomsburg, PA, the crew from BDS made it back to Michigan. The 3-day weekend was spent hanging out along vendor alley at the 27th Annual 4Wheel Jamboree Summer Nationals. BDS’s Bryce, Jeff and Tyler were on hand with Project Slate, the show trailer loaded with displays and Project KJ, fresh back from last week’s Ultimate Adventure. The weather held out all weekend long and undoubtedly the warm, sunny weather helped bring the masses out as more than 3000 trucks, Jeeps, and other 4x4s were on site for the event. Weekend activities included monster truck racing, tough truck and mud bog competitions, burnout contest and show-n-shine. Many took the opportunity to cruise the fairgrounds in their trucks stopping by the booth to show off and get photos, while many took on Fox’s obstacle course dubbed the Fox proving grounds.
There was a great turnout of BDS distributors from around the area with booths set up and vehicles on display. Dealers included Auto Addictions, Apple Hill 4×4, 4×4 Suspension & Gear, and High Caliber 4×4 along with numerous BDS equipped vehicles making for a great showing for BDS at this year’s event. A big thank you to everyone that stopped by the booth this past weekend to check us out! For those in the area that missed out on the show last weekend, we’ll be back next weekend for the PA Jeep Show in York and mid-August for the Carlisle Truck Nationals so hopefully we’ll catch you at one of those shows.

September 24, 2013: As the weather starts to cool off and summer turns to fall each year, the 4Wheel Jamboree Nationals roll into Indianapolis, IN for one last hurrah of the off-road show series. For many, its their last chance to show their rigs for the year, whether in the show-n-shine, tough truck races, burnout competition, or on the dyno. BDS was on site for the week of activities as the Indiana State Fairgrounds were overrun for 3-days of high octane entertainment. With more than 4500 vehicles and nearly 15,000 4×4 enthusiasts on site to all the excitement. The grand stands were the place to watch the monster trucks racing, freestyle, and mud drags, while many came to check out all the rigs on display around the fairgrounds. Hot laps are among the favorite activities as many cruised the fairgrounds showing off their rides for the crowd to see. New this year Fox Racing hosted an offroad proving ground area for cruisers to detour from the hot lap to test out their suspension.
Over on vendor row thousands flocked to talk to manufacturers, check out new products and take advantage of show specials. BDS set up with Fox Racing in the vendor row to show off a few project trucks, new products, chat with customers, and sell BDS swag. In addition to our many show rigs on display BDS had a new 2013 Ram 3500 showing off a prototype lift kit and a 2014 GMC 1500 running a soon to be released BDS 6” C/O lift kit. These trucks received plenty of attention as this was their first time being seen out in public. The BDS KJ grabbed attention as many came by to see this latest creation from the engineers at BDS R&D. Many stopped by to see the trucks, price out lift kits, and pick up BDS shirts, hoodies, and koozies on sale.
A big thanks to everyone that made it out for the show and stopped by the BDS booth. The Indy 4Wheel Jamboree is one that we have on our calendar each year and look forward to showing at. Check out some of the photos from this weekend below. To see more, head to the BDS Facebook Page.
