Four Wheeler Installation Article: A Look At BDS’ 6-Inch Lift For The 2009-10 Ford F150
BDS Suspension offers a way to make the F-150 even better for us off-highway junkies. Their 6-inch High Clearance kit fits the ’09 and ’10 F-150 and features cool stuff like high-arched crossmembers made from ¼-inch steel; CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles; gas-charged front struts; a steel front differential skidplate; and a rear offset spring plate. The kit allows you to fit up to a 37×13.50 tire on a 17×9 wheel with 5.5-inch backspacing. We recently h-ad the opportunity to visit Attitude Performance in Arlington Heights, Illinois, to watch the team install one of these kits on a customer’s 2010 F-150 FX4, and it was interesting to see how BDS approached lifting the F-150. Follow along as we show you the highlights of the kit. Testimonial from Installer
One of our favorite things is to get feedback from our customers and distributors on what they think of our lift kits and where they explore. We recently received an email from Chris over at Buzz Boxliners up in Edmonton, AB. Chris wrote: Just a quick note to let you guys know we love your product. We have been installing your BDS kits on our 2011 and 2012 GMC trucks that we do for our dealership showroom trucks. We have done some other kits as well and by far the simple install and overall time it takes to install your kit is better than all others. Thanks for the great work. Testimonial: 1978 Ford Bronco
We talked to Todd Langley a few weeks back about his 1978 Ford Bronco project and what option would be best to meet his needs. After talking with tech support they decided on a 4” BDS lift kit with replacement rear leaf springs. After picking up the parts from BDS Distributor Eastern Truck & Accessories, Todd took to installign the kit on his 30+ year old blue oval. He sent us a message saying about the look, the fitment and the quality of the parts. He wrote to us that it drives even better than stock, even  handled speeds in excess of 70mph. Thanks for the message Todd, we’re happy to hear your Bronco is doing well, and thanks for choosing us to be a part of your project.
Off-Road Overhaulin’ Dodge
BDS Suspension recently got involved on a truck buildup on the Outdoor Channel’s Off-Road Overhaul show. The recipient of the off-road makeover was Markus Voegler and his 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Powerwagon.  When Mike Duval, host of the show told us about the project we jumped on board with a complete long arm kit to outfit the truck. If you haven’t checked out the show look for it on the Monday nights at 5:30pm, 9:30pm, 12:00am, and 2:30am (EST). We recently received a message from Markus that read  “I am not sure where to start, I am one of the lucky people chosen to have my vehicle overhauled for Offroad Overhaul on Outdoor Channel.  The vehicle is a 2008 Dodge Powerwagen.  The vehicle was outfitted with a 6 inch BDS Suspension long arm.  I wanted to take a moment and Thank You for setting me up with such a killer…
