We were located across from Gate C; the main gate across from the South parking lot, which led to a large amount of foot traffic at our booth. Across from us was the Mini Mods, which was a huge attraction for people attending the event. This attraction kept people hanging around. We brought both our RAM and newly outfitted Super Duty, #TheGeneral. Both trucks were posed on rocks with our table in the center and corn hole out front. People were constantly stopping by to check out our trucks, our booth, and of course, challenge BDS team member, Andy to some corn hole.
At this event we were handing out stickers and koozies. For customers that had our lifts on their rigs and could prove it, we had hats and T-shirts. We little fun by creating a corn hole challenge. If you could beat us, you won a BDS T-shirt, if you couldn't, then you were encouraged to come back later to try your luck. Andy, being the skilled corn hole player that he was, kept people coming back to the booth to continue to try to win that BDS T-shirt.
This event gave us the opportunity to talk to a lot of customers about our favorite subject, suspension systems. We found that a lot of people preferred a modest lift height (3-5"). Our booth had several parts on display including: radius arms, HD lower control arms, and a recoil traction bar. These were a hot topic in our conversations with those who visited us.
Overall, we had a great time! The tractor pulls were awesome, the people were fun, and the event staff was excellent. We made some great connections and look forward to this event next year. Thanks to everyone that stopped by!
