SEMA Trucks: Daley Visual Tundra

Each year the SEMA Show is flooded with amazing automobiles, lifted trucks, lower street rods, resto-mod classics and late model monsters all in the name of automotive customization. There’s something for everyone’s taste from the insane over-the-top to capable daily drivers. BDS Suspension attends this annual show out in Las Vegas and continues to make quite the statement with show vehicles scattered throughout the show grounds on display in exhibitor booths and featured vehicle spots.

Josh Daley’s Tundra is blue. Well that seems to be the understatement of the century. On the day of our photo shoot we spotted the Daley Visual Toyota about a mile off screaming down the highway to our shoot location in the Jean Dry Lakebed south of Vegas. Even at that distance the blue was piercing if stared at too long.

This Toyota started life as 2011 charcoal gray Tundra that would have served its owner just fine, but Josh had bigger plans for it. As owner of Daley Visual Vehicle Wraps in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Josh envisioned this truck as the perfect promotional piece to promote his company. The wrap, which is still a work in progress is a blue chrome version of Avery supreme wrapping film and features a number of chrome and black chrome accents to a look that’s next to impossible not to notice. The wrap is incorporated into the entire build with the EGR fender flares and the LGE CTS Motosports front bumper getting the full wrap treatment. Up front Spyder Auto smoked projection headlight and a Spyder Auto 30” LED lightbar were added to light up the night along with a T-Rex mesh grill to complete the cosmetics. To get the stance of the truck looking as good as the body Josh opted for a BDS 7” Performance System featuring Fox 2.5 remote reservoir coilovers. Whether he’s showing off the truck or tearing up the dirt this kit is built to perform and look good doing it. To improve stopping power, a set of R1 Concepts slotted brake rotors were installed. For tires, 35×12.50×18 Hankook Dynapro M/Ts fit the bill and were mounted on 18×10 2Crave Extreme Offroads. Out back, the rear bumper was wrapped in carbon fiber and Spyder Auto LED taillights were installed. The bed was sprayed with Line-X for a protective finish. Under the hood the stock 5.7L V8 was tuned with a Volant cold air intake and Magnaflow catback exhaust system. Inside the cab, the blue theme continues with blue chrome wrap on the doors, dash, and gauges. A JVC 7” touchscreen navigation headunit was swapped in and (2) 10” Kicker subs mounted in the back. This truck is a quality build and killer marketing piece for Daley Visual, kudos on the project guys. For more on this project head to BDS’s Facebook page.
