Twin Peaks approves of the BDS F250
We’re in route to the 2015 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, UT and as with any trip heading westward from our Coldwater, MI facilities it has become our standard stop I-80 in Des Moines, Iowa at Twin Peaks to grab some grub on the long haul. I think its safe to say the staff like the BDS F250…. The road trip continues, there are trail to be wheeled with the BDS F250 and Project KJ. BDS F250 Project Update – Down to the Wire w/ Final Assembly
Its down to the wire as the BDS R&D crew does final assembly on the BDS F250 before it hits the road in route to Moab, UT for Easter Jeep Safari. A fresh set of graphics were ordered for a 2-ton charcoal/white color scheme (available to fit your truck in the BDS vehicle wraps section). With the tight deadline approaching Highlander Graphics came in town to install the graphics in our adjacent photo studio while we prepped and painted the modified Fab Fours bumpers to match the theme, charcoal front and white rear. With the Warn M10000 winch and Vision X cannon lighting bolted down the bumpers were hoisted into place on the truck and everything was wired up. The Airlift airbags and Wireless One compressor system was installed using the BDS (prototype) air support system to allow additional towing support without limiting suspension travel. Project Build Update: BDS Super Duty
If you missed the announcement 2 weeks ago, BDS’s is in the process of building up the test mule 2012 Ford F250 Super Duty into a capable trail and tow rig. The build is underway as we prep it to take its maiden journey out to Moab, UT for Easter Jeep Safari next week.
BDS’s Newest Project: F250 Super Duty
BDS breaks ground on the latest project build. After nearly 2 years of faithful service Project Slate, our 2013 RAM 3500 is going up for sale soon and plans are being made to transform the company’s new Ford Super Duty into a bad ass promotional rig. Part work horse show hauler, part trail rig, this Super Duty will see its fair share of dirt, mud, rocks and ashpalt over the next couple years. This year alone its slated for the Fullsize Invasion Trail Ride in Moab during Easter Jeep Safari later this month, 4Wheel Jamborees, and other offroad shows across the country. Initially we picked up this Super Duty last summer to use at the BDS tech center for new product development and testing. Along with field testing current production parts, this truck has quietly gone under the knife several times to develop and test numerous coil spring and coilover suspension configurations.
