Each year, BDS releases many videos. Some are project updates, event recaps, product overviews, and instructional videos. Along with these, BDS also produces 15-sec commercials to air nationally during Xtreme Offroad and Truck Tech as part of PowerNation TV which air on Spike TV, CBS Sports, and NBC Sports. Here is the latest commercial to be released, do you know BDS?
The 4wheeing trip of a lifetime and if you’re up to the challenge of a weeklong hardcore offroad adventure its one you should have on your bucket list. The Ultimate Adventure hosted by 4Wheel & Offroad Magazine is a weeklong 1200-mile 4wheeling trip across multiple states with about 25 rigs split between magazine staff, sponsors and selected readers. No trailers or support vehicles, you need to be self sufficient with tools, spare parts, and food for the journey. Its a mystery what each day of the trip will bring as you follow Rick Pewe on the route he mapped out. This year BDS was the official suspension once again bringing the Crawlorado, a bad ass V8 powered 1st Gen Colorado as well as a 2015 Colorado to shuttle the magazine and video crew around from trail to trail. Each year the magazine features the event in multiple issues of the print publication, online as well as in a feature length video. Check out the 2015 Ultimate Adventure video… #ua2015

With the start of the 2015 Ultimate Adventure almost here BDS is prepping vehicles for the weeklong 1000+ mile off-road road trip led by Rick Pewe of 4Wheel & Off-Road Magazine. BDS has been privileged to hold the Official Suspension Sponsor position 5 years now (2009, 2010, 2013, 2014, and 2015). Along with building a vehicle to wheel on the trip this year (the Crawlorado), 4WOR asked BDS to bring along a “support vehicle” to shuttle the camera crew around and help with social media coverage throughout the week. While we won’t be hitting all the trail obstacles, we needed a capable vehicle able to hit the trails with plenty of storage for camera equipment and bags and other gear.
With the popularity of the redesigned 2015 Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon right now and BDS’s first to market 5.5” lift kits just hitting the market last week, we made the choice to prep our ’15 Colorado 4Door/Long Bed for the trip. In addition to the BDS 5.5” Lift Kit and preproduction Fox 2.5 coilovers, the truck is running a 305/55r20 Mickey Thompson ATZ P3s on 20×9 Eagle Alloy 012s. N-Fab wheel to wheel steps make accessing the cab much easier and a Magnaflow exhaust system to for a few extra ponies and to get a throatier sound. With the need for additional dry storage without adding weight we choice the SofTopper canvas top and the BDS R&D team fabbed up a rack to mount the rack basket with a 40” Lifetime LEDs lightbar and a few cube LEDs mounted for better visibility at night and setting up camp.
The team is finishing the build prep and hits the road to meet up at the secret start point of the Ultimate Adventure tomorrow (Saturday June 27th). Stay tuned for updates throughout the week long trip on Facebook and Instagram, #ua2015
