Moab Update: Fullsize Invasion takes over Poison Spider
Yesterday, April 4th, the Fullsize Invasion, as it’s being coined by the magazines took over Moab, or at least a small piece of the trail. The inaugural trail ride for fullsize trail rigs came about with the guys over at Four Wheeler and Off-Road Magazine decided it was time to shed some light on the numerous full size rigs that attend Easter Jeep Safari each year. Carter and Mike from BDS headed out in the company tow rig, the monster 2010 Ram 2500 running 8″ of BDS long arm suspension, 40″ Toyo M/Ts and 20″ BMFs with Iron Cross winch bumpers. For the first year organizing there was an impressive turnout with 20+ full size trail rigs (and tow rigs) making it out to run Poison Spider Mesa. Moab Update: Snow today at Easter Jeep Safari
Well we made it in to town yesterday afternoon to beautiful warm weather and high expectations for the week that lay ahead. This morning we woke up to a dusting of snow on all the vehicles and gloomy overcast skies that continued to drop snow for the first half of the day. We headed out in our Ram 2500 to play around at Area BFE and Behind the Rocks before stopping by to say hi to our friends over at Moab 4×4 Outpost. Throughout the day more and more offroad vehicles made there way into town for the week of activities consequently running out the other Subaru owning tourists in town that were previously unaware of this weeks events. BDS has arrived in Moab!
It’s been a long couple of days heading out from Coldwater, MI in route to Moab, Utah for the 46th Annual Easter Jeep Safari, but we made it! The weather’s great and the rigs are nice and clean in preparation for a week of wheeling, photoshoots, vendor shows, and more… For those of you out in Moab, look for us out and about to get your free beer coupon for the Moab  Brewery and enjoy some great food and spirits after a long day of trail riding this week. We’ll be posting up photos and videos throughout the week so stay tuned for plenty more on the BDS blog and on our Facebook page. 2012 Easter Jeep Safari just days away!
Just days away, Easter Jeep Safari is set to begin in Moab, Utah as thousands of Jeeps and 4WD vehicles converge on the peaceful town for a week full of 4wheeling excitement. With over 4 decades of history this event is known for beautiful scenery, amazing 4wheeling, and fun for the whole family. Hosted by the Red Rock 4-Wheelers Club this event brings together off-road enthusiasts, aftermarket manufacturers, OE manufactures, and media members for a full week of events out in the red rocks of Moab. The event starts April 1st and runs through easter Sunday, April 8th. In addition to the great 4wheeling that goes on during the week, there are a number of events that go on around town. BDS Lifts Police Truck in Petersen’s 4-Wheel & Off-Road Magazine

BDS Install in JP Magazine: FSJ 4” Kit
Check out the April 2012 issues of JP Magazine for a great install article titled “BDS Cherokee Chief Lift Kit: Full-Size Spring Surprise: FSJ+BDS=Kick Ass” by Magazine Editor Christian Hazel. Project Monkey Bus, a 1978 Jeep Cherokee Chief that has been fixed up over the past few months adding a mix of aftermarket parts and replacement parts to be deemed drivable.
