BDS Featured Rides: 2017 Ford Super Duty | Project Renaissance If you live in the Southeast region of the US, you may recognize this guy or this truck! Brad is our Territory Rep and he is driving the BDS 2017 Ford F250, nicknamed Project Renaissance. This rig made its debut at the 2019 Daytona Truck Meet. Since then it has been to several other shows including: Scrapin The Coast 2019, Rocky Top Diesel Shootout 6, Rudys Diesel Fall Event, The Petit Le Mans, and Lone Star Throwdown 2020. We are itching to get this rig back out to some more events and shows across the country. Brad has been in the industry 16 years. BDS Featured Rides: Ford Super Duty With shows and events getting cancelled due to COVID-19 related stay home and quarantine orders several of the staff here at BDS Suspension have been going a bit stir crazy. As many of you can attest to the first rule of owning a lifted truck or Jeep is you have to talk about it all the time so several of us on staff thought we’d do just that by featuring our own rides and what we drive on the daily. Big wheels are a big trend, while its not everyone’s style and the argument can be made its not as “offroad” capable, let’s be honest, how many people are using their fullsize trucks in that harsh of conditions offroad (or offroad at all in many situations). So to go along with that trend we built a new 2019 RAM 3500 to debut at SEMA showcasing a number of preproduction BDS suspension upgrades. The new altitude comes from a BDS 8″ 4-Link conversion system with upgraded FOX 2.5 DSC coilovers, BDS dual stabilizer kit, BDS Glideride rear leaf springs and Recoil traction bars all finished in a metallic blue powder coat. This allows clearance for the 40×15.50 Nitto Trail Grapplers on 26×16 Armani Offroad Buzzed wheels.
