Coldwater, MI: BDS adds to its lineup of lift kit options for the Ford F150 trucks with several new sizes and shock options designed to take your truck to the next level. Now offered in 2", 3", 4" and 6" lift heights, BDS adds new FOX 2.0 IFP snap-ring strut options along with 2.0 IFP loaded coilovers along with several new listings taking advantage of the all new aluminum bodied FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series coilovers and rear shocks to raise the bar for performance and capability under the F150. Here's a rundown on the new kit listings:

2" Snap Ring Coilover Kits: These kits use the FOX 2.0 Performance Series coilover struts for a bolt-in upgrade to fit up to 35x12.50 tires while providing improved damper performance across all terrains. These non-reservoir struts are designed as a direct replacement for the OE struts and utilize a series of snap ring collar to allow for up to 2" of lift designed to be used with the factory coil springs and top plate. Also available are fully assembled FOX 2.0 Performance Series coilovers that are preset for the correct lift height right out of the box and use a threaded body to allow preload adjustment. Either option features a 2.0" extruded and machined 6061 T6 aluminum body for better heat dispersion, along with an internal floating piston (IFP) to eliminate oil aeration, FOX's proprietary internals, and a 5/8" hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy shaft. They pair with BDS performance series upper control arms (UCA). These UCAs improve suspension travel while providing superior strength and styling to the factory arms. These arms are built from 1.5" OD heavy wall tubing, fully welded with integrated support gussets. They also include brake line mounting tabs and use an indexed ball joint cup to correct ball joint positioning back to the neutral position at ride height. The BDS arms come fully assembled with OE-style rubber bushings for the frame mounts and a high-quality ball joint for smooth, quiet operation. In the rear a matching pair of FOX 2.0 IFP Performance Series shocks are supplied to improve damper performance.

3" Performance Elite Coilover Kits: These kits upgrade to the FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series coilovers for a bolt-in upgrade to fit 35x12.50 tires while dramatically improving damper performance across all terrains. Performance Elite Series coilovers are the latest iteration in FOX's shock technology packed into a bolt-on assembly tuned to take your F150 to the next level on and off-road. They feature a smooth bore and honed seamless aluminum body for better heat dispersion, 7/8" hardened steel carbon shaft, Eibach coil springs and black anodized machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum mounts along with remote reservoirs with DSC (dual speed compression) adjustment technology built in. DSC allows for easy adjustment of the vehicle's suspension compression dampening so you can dial in the ideal ride performance to soak up the bumps, both large and small. The DSC has 12 adjustment points for the high speed compression as well as 10 adjustment points for the low speed compression allowing you to make large or small changes to further improve your performance. Adjustments can be made by simply twisting the knobs located on the end of the reservoir. No tools or shop adjustments needed, allowing you to tune the suspension out on the trail. A pair of reservoir mounting brackets are supplied to position the reservoirs. To take full advantage of these coilovers a pair of BDS performance series upper control arms (UCA) are supplied to increase available suspension travel while providing superior strength and styling to the factory arms. These arms are built from 1.5" OD heavy wall tubing, fully welded with integrated support gussets. They also include brake line mounting tabs and use an indexed ball joint cup to correct ball joint positioning back to the neutral position at ride height. In the rear, a 2" rear lift block and longer u-bolts are supplied to replace the OE block. These are paired with your choice of FOX 2.0 IFP Performance Series shocks or FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series shocks to further improve damper performance.

4" and 6" Snap Ring Coilover Systems: These 4"/6" Snap Ring Coilover Systems bring a new shock package to the tried and true BDS high clearance systems for the Ford F150. They feature a pair of precision tuned FOX 2.0 performance series (non-reservoir) coilover struts designed for use with the factory coil spring and top plate. These non-reservoir FOX coilovers offer improved on-road and off-road performance and allow easy setup with 2 snap ring grooves for either 4" or 6" of lift. They are a direct bolt-in replacement for the factory strut assemblies and improve damper performance featuring a 2.0" extruded and machined 6061 T6 aluminum body for better heat dispersion, along with an internal floating piston (IFP) to eliminate oil aeration, FOX's proprietary internals, 5/8" hard chrome plated heat treated alloy shaft. Complimenting the coilover struts, BDS utilizes a pair of specially designed 1/4" thick laser cut high clearance crossmembers to maximize clearance and provide a solid mounting point for the OE lower control arms. These paired with a high strength differential skid plate to create a rigid subframe while adding protection for vital steering and driveline components. In place of the factory steering knuckles a pair of specially designed ductile iron replacement steering knuckles are supplied to maintain proper steering geometry for ESC system compatibility. These connect to the factory steering with a pair of heavy duty replacement tie rod ends included in the kit. The front differential is re-positioned with BDS's multi-point relocation bracket system tying into the frame and control arm pockets to further secure the front differential to keep CV axle angles at a minimum. A front driveshaft spacer is also supplied along with longer hardware to allow the re-installation of the factory driveshaft. A pair of sway bar drop brackets used to correct the operating angle of the factory sway bar as well as created a strong brace between the rear crossmember and the frame. Rounding out the front of this kit are new lower control arm cam bolts to allow alignment and a weld-in frame reinforcement plate for extra strength. In the rear of this performance lift kit, the factory block is replaced with a tall lift block and longer u-bolts to lift and level the stance. Also included, BDS supplies brake line and ABS line brackets allow the use of factory brake lines. Rear damper capacity is improved by your choice of specially tuned FOX 2.0 IFP Performance Series gas shocks to match the front performance.
