SEMA Trucks: Royalty Core’s Ram
Each year the SEMA Show is flooded with amazing automobiles, lifted trucks, lower street rods, resto-mod classics and late model monsters all in the name of automotive customization. There’s something for everyone’s taste from the insane over-the-top to capable daily drivers. BDS Suspension attends this annual show out in Las Vegas and continues to make quite the statement with show vehicles scattered throughout the show grounds on display in exhibitor booths and featured vehicle spots.
On display this year in the Injen Performance booth was a great looking 2013 RAM 2500 build by Josh Ellison of Royalty Core out of Eugene, OR. The truck features a number of upgrades to suspension, styling and performance and landed itself a feature in an upcoming issue of Diesel World Magazine.
Up front the stock chrome bumper was swapped out for a spraylined Iron Cross setup that houses a Warn winch and Vision X lights. Royalty Core swapped the stock grill out for one of their RCX Twin LED units with more Vision X LED lighting. A BDS 8” long arm kit with triple front Fox 2.0/dual rear Fox 2.0 shocks was installed giving plenty of room for 37×13.50×20 Interco M-16s on 20×12 Hostile Knuckles. To help control the tires a BDS dual 9500 steering stabilizer was fitted. Also installed a set of Bushwacker pocketstyle flares and Iron Cross steps to finish off the sides of the truck along with custom matte graphics. Up top a 52” Vision X roof mounted light bar was installed along with rear LED lighting on the Royalty Core headache rack. The rear also features an Iron Cross bumper and plenty of bed storage capacity. Under the hood, the stock 6.7L Cummins features an Injen performance intake, Edge Insight CTS and 4” MBRP dual exhaust with 8” tips. ATS differential and tranny covers finish out this truck for a great looking RAM that’s ready for anything. To see more on this RAM, head to the BDS Facebook Page.
