SEMA Trucks: Diamond Eye’s F150
Each year the SEMA Show is flooded with amazing automobiles, lifted trucks, lower street rods, resto-mod classics and late model monsters all in the name of automotive customization. There’s something for everyone’s taste from the insane over-the-top to capable daily drivers. BDS Suspension attends this annual show out in Las Vegas and continues to make quite the statement with show vehicles scattered throughout the show grounds on display in exhibitor booths and featured vehicle spots.
The crew from Diamond Eye Performance always show up at SEMA with great looking trucks, from monster diesels to performance gassers. This year they continued that trend with trucks throughout the show and a gorgeous 2012 Ford F150 Ecoboost on display in their booth. The truck is owned by Dennis Olson of Diamond Eye and features a number of cool mods and go fast goodies.
This truck sports a BDS 6” Performance System with Fox 2.5 remote coilovers and Fox 2.0 rear shocks. Tires came from Toyo and are 35×12.50×20 open country M/Ts. For wheels, a set of 20×10 BMF novakanes were installed. Up front a spraylined Fusion bumper was installed along with Rigid LED lights. The stock grill and headlights were swapped for a BMF black mesh grill and Anzo u-bar headlights. Amp Research retractable steps were installed to make access a breeze and a roof mounted 50” Rigid e-series combo light bar brightens up the night. Out back an ARE overland series bed cap was installed for every dry storage and a Yakima megawarrior roof rack was mounted with even more Rigids for 360-degree perimeter lighting. Under the hood the stock 3.5L Ecoboost was given some extra attention from an Injen cold air intake, SCT/Street-to-Sand performance tuning, and a Diamond Eye Performance 4” stainless exhaust system.
