Project Trucks: Daley Visual’s BlueChrome Tundra

BlueChromeTundra-13

If you follow BDS online or are into the Tundra aftermarket chances are you’ve seen the Daley Visual Blue Chrome Tundra. It’s a show stopping truck that breaks necks everywhere it goes. We ran a feature on this truck last year following SEMA and had the truck on display in our booth a few months back at Offroad Expo. As with most truck builds this one is a work in progress for Josh Daley, owner of this bad ass Tundra  and of Daley Visual Vehicle Wraps out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

The truck has come a long way from its humble beginnings as a bone stock charcoal gray 2011 Toyota Tundra. Josh owns Daley Visual Vehicle Wraps in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and after getting his hands on this truck he began transforming it into the awesome calling card it is today. Josh collaborated with Prestige Marketing on the build bringing together a variety of styling and performance upgrades to set it apart. Starting off with the wrap, Josh sourced blue-chrome supreme wrapping film from Avery. Despite being a very challenging material to wrap, it looks flawless on the truck especially with the chrome and black chrome accents. The wrap continues throughout the build with the EGR fender flares, RK Sport ram air hood and the LGE CTS Motosports front bumper getting the blue-chrome treatment. Up front Oracle backlit projector LED headlights were installed along with a Spyder Auto 30” LED lighter on the bumper and 50” Atomic Offroad Designs on the roof to light up the night. To get the stance of the truck looking as good as the body Josh opted for a BDS 7” Performance System featuring Fox 2.5 remote reservoir coilovers. Whether he’s showing off the truck or tearing up the dirt this kit is built to perform and look good doing it. To improve stopping power, a set of R1 Concepts slotted brake rotors were installed. These days the truck runs on 37×13.50×20 Toyo Open Country M/Ts mounted up on a set of 20×10 DPR Offroad wheels. Out back, the rear bumper was wrapped in carbon fiber and Spyder Auto LED taillights were installed. The bed was sprayed with Rhino Linings for a protective finish and features a Cargo Glide rollout bed slider for easy access. Under the hood the stock 5.7L V8 was tuned with a Volant cold air intake and Magnaflow catback exhaust system. Inside the cab, the blue theme continues with blue chrome wrap on the doors, dash, and gauges. A JVC 7” touchscreen navigation headunit was swapped in and (2) 10” Kicker subs mounted in the back. Roadwire leather wrapped seats finish off the interior for a clean, custom look. This truck is a quality build and killer marketing piece for Daley Visual and Prestige Marketing.

Yes, I recently acquired your blue chrome Tundra. With the grass fromm’s on it. The seven inch lift kit 37 inch tires two light bars one on top one on that. Wrapped bumper I’m getting ready to. Replace the brakes and rotors. There are one Concepts, but I don’t know if they’re one-piece or two-piece. If you can email me back. If they’re a one-piece or two-piece. That would be a big help. I’m getting ready to order them through R1 concept. Also if you could send me a copy have everything you’ve done on the build for the truck for the SEMA car show. Sincerely Chuck Henderson, thank you.

Hi Charles, congrats on the new truck. While we partnered with Daley Visual to supply the suspension products, we have not own the truck and don’t have the specifics on the build beyond the info mentioned in the above feature that was provided to us by Daley Visual. My recommendation would be to reach out to Josh at Daley Visual and even R1 Concepts, either of them should be able to provide that info for you. Thanks,
