National FJ Summit 2019
Event Recap BDS recently had the pleasure to go wheeling in the San Juan Mountains during the 13th annual National FJ Summit. This event, located in Ouray, CO brought in 400 Toyota and Lexus off road vehicles for five days of adventure, laughs, and fun. Due to massive amounts of snow last winter, many of the trails were not open all the way over the passes. This made for some last minute changes from the event coordinators, but in the end everything ran nice and smooth for the participants and vendors. The amount of avalanche debris was mind blowing. Entire sections of forest were taken out and ground into sticks. It was pretty amazing to see the aftermath of these massive avalanches. Toyota Gives Back
Last year northern California was engulfed in flames. Forest fires spread across the land, putting thousands of people out of their homes and in harms way.
Local Nurse, Allyn Pierce and his Toyota Tundra braved through the flames to help rescue people who could not escape the fire. Toyota heard his story and decided to show their thanks to him by generously replacing his Tundra. It’s one of those feel good stories that warm you heart. […]
Mid Michigan Mud Fest 2019
Event Recap Friday Friday afternoon BDS rolled into the Mid Michigan Mud Fest ready for a Michigan-good time. The main entrance and ticket booth were located by the Grand Stands, which is where other vendors were set up. We set up near the main entrance road, a few hundred yards from the ticket booth. Every vehicle that came in went right by our booth to get to get to the rest of the event. We brought our KJ and staged it front and center, with BDS trucks bordering the booth. Our tents and tables were set up behind the KJ, as well as custom-made BDS corn hole boards in the booth. A weekend out at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes is exactly what the team at BDS Suspension needed. Michigan has been hit with some good sized storms lately, which brings flooding, downed trees, and power lines, which ended up leaving the BDS Headquarters without power for a few days.
