BDS at SnoFari 2015
BDS made the short 3 hour trip north for SnoFari 2015, the annual snow trail ride event hosted by the Soldiers of Fortune Offroad Club (SoFo). SoFo has been hosting this event for near a decade in West Branch, MI capping attendance to a manageable 80 rigs for 2 days and 1-night of 4wheeling in the powdery white stuff. Unlike last year’s sub-zero event temps and massive snow base, this year’s event was in the mid-20s and snowfall was moderate at best. We had Project KJ, our ’05 Liberty CRD for the weekend festivities and had a blast out on the trails and catching up with old friends. Once again Snofari proved to be an awesome event and we appreciate the hospitality we received from SoFo, GL4x4, and all of the participants.  Keep up with the planning for 2016 head over to GreatLakes4x4.com

2014 Ultimate Adventure Videos
Each year the 4Wheel & Offroad Magazine crew host a week long debut to showcase the Ultimate Adventure film. While the video only offers you a glimpse into the journey, it gives fans a chance to see what the trip is all about and the lucky few that get to attend a chance to relive the experience once more. This past year Dave and myself (Carter) were the lucky ones selected to represent BDS Suspension and headed off on the journey with the company’s 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD, dubbed Project KJ. The journey took place back in July and we still tell stories from the week that we 4wheeled our way through Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri in a parade of 25 rigs. Watch the videos below to check out 4WOR’s coverage from the trip. BDS’s 2000-Mile Roadtrip to SEMA in the 2015 Colorado
If you haven’t checked out our last post on the BDS Colorado, head to BDS’s Last Minute SEMA Build: 2015 Chevy Colorado for more on the  project, our plans, and the execution to turn our 2015 Chevy Colorado into a 2014 SEMA Show standout in under a month. When we left off with the story the truck had less than a week to go before departing on the 2000-mile adventure from Michigan to Las Vegas. The engineering team prototyped a set of Fox coilovers to work with the existing 6” suspension system and parts were  arriving from Nitto, Eagle Alloys, Rigid, Extang, and Magnaflow. We got word from N-Fab that the steps were built and getting powdercoated to install once the truck arrived in Vegas. Following a quick check up at the dealership the truck stopped off to install graphics and hit the road for SEMA with 3 days planned…
