BDS Colorado hits the trails for the 2015 Ultimate Adventure
In addition to Project Crawlorado the bad ass 2011 trail built V8 Colorado we’re running this year, BDS was asked to bring a second vehicle to haul the social media crew around. After debuting our 2015 Colorado kits at SEMA last year, we took this opportunity to revamp the BDS Colorado to hit the trails as the official “media” support vehicle of the 2015 Ultimate Adventure. Along with being able to navigate the back country terrain, the rocks, and mud, this 2015 Chevy Colorado is carrying 4WOR’s social media team along the trip to each location. 1000+ miles spent with phone chargers, camera batteries, and computers hooked up to every outlet bring you the latest from where ever the journey may take us. The truck is now running the production 5.5” BDS Lift Kit with preproduction Fox 2.5 Remote Coilovers. We pulled the Zone 1.5” body lift, 35” tires and bumper mounted curved 30” light…
Project Crawlorado: Update #3 On the Road Again!
Kevin and the Crawlorado are in route to the secret starting point of the 2015 Ultimate Adventure. It was a busy and stressful 2 month build as the guys from Pacific Fabrication transformed this 2011 Chevy Colorado V8 into the beast it is today. BDS 4-link long arm suspension, Fox shocks, locked Dana 60 axles, custom bumpers and rack along with 37” Pitbull tires. Since our last update on the project the suspension was buttoned up, the hydraulic ram assist steering box was plumbed, Warn winch wired up along with the Vision X lighting. BDS preps the new Colorado for Ultimate Adventure
With the start of the 2015 Ultimate Adventure almost here BDS is prepping vehicles for the weeklong 1000+ mile off-road road trip led by Rick Pewe of 4Wheel & Off-Road Magazine. BDS has been privileged to hold the Official Suspension Sponsor position 5 years now (2009, 2010, 2013, 2014, and 2015). Along with building a vehicle to wheel on the trip this year (the Crawlorado), 4WOR asked BDS to bring along a “support vehicle” to shuttle the camera crew around and help with social media coverage throughout the week. While we won’t be hitting all the trail obstacles, we needed a capable vehicle able to hit the trails with plenty of storage for camera equipment and bags and other gear. Project Crawlorado – Build Update #2
It’s getting down to the wire for Kevin Stearns and the Pacific Fabrication crew with a little over a week to finish up the build up before they hit the road for the secret start point of the 2015 Ultimate Adventure. Team Wandahsega’s tough start to the 2015 race season

Team Wandahsega has a tough start to the 2015 Season… The Schuss Mountain Snow Challenge was the first event on our radar to kick off the 2015 racing season. This event keeps getting bigger each year, and this year adding the “Discovery Channel” there for the first time to tape for a later show. We had very high hopes, and looked forward to trying out our new trans brake, along with the added HP from last year’s motor upgrade. The day of the event promised some good racing, as you drag race with another truck up the massive ski resort hill! The weather was around 35 degrees, and about 5000 people on the hill to watch, sun was out, and the track still had many feet of snow on the hill. The 35” and under…
BDS at Shows From Coast to Coast This Weekend!
Its officially show season… while we’ve had our fair share of events already this year its weekends like this coming one where BDS and our other brands are on the road to 4 different events from coast to coast. We’ll have most of the show trucks and our trail trucks out, show specials and reps on hand.We hope to see you out at one of the events.
