Off Roading in a Ford Ranger | Air Designs

Late last year in preparation for the 2018 SEMA Show, the crew from Air Designs got their hands on the new 2019 Ford Ranger to transform it into their take on the Raptor Ranger, a midsize truck many of us are envious of although not offered here in North America. Starting with the clean slate new Ranger, the team designed an offroad body kit complete with fender flares, hood scoop, body cladding and bumper accents to give their truck a mean appearance all color matched in a gloss black/white pattern. The setup allows for additional Rigid lighting to be added for improved visibility. From there they suspension was upgraded to a BDS 2.5" UCA Lift System with prototype FOX coilovers and shocks to make room for the 33" Nitto Ridge Grapplers on 20" Fuel wheels. To get more power and sound out of the 2.3L EcoBoost engine a Borla exhaust system was added. Very cool build, check it out in action:
