No Fine Print Warranty Gets Even Better! NPA #366

NFPW-2020

For years we’ve been able to offer not only the quality of BDS products, but the warranty that goes along with it. This No Fine Print warranty has been there to protect the original purchaser against bending, breaking, sagging, and other types of product “failure” so they can go with confidence to use it and abuse it. Over the years we sweetened the deal leveraging the No Fine Print Warranty as a component of Factory Protection Plus program included with each of BDS’s lift systems. Factory Protection Plus brings together the No Fine Print Warranty along with the FMVSS 126 ESC system compliance testing and a 5 year, 60-100K* mile drivetrain warranty for an unbeatable protection program at no cost to the customer. (*5yr/60k for Ford and Toyota vehicles. 5yr/100k for Ram, GM, Nissan and Jeep vehicles)

We’re excited to announce improved coverage as part of the No Fine Print Warranty and Limited Lifetime Warranty policies. Among the updates are:

  • All bushings now included in No Fine Print Warranty (lifetime replacement)
  • Shocks/Stabilizers have improved coverage under the limited lifetime warranty (2 year replacement)
  • Tie Rod Ends and Ball Joints are now covered under the limited lifetime warranty (3 year replacement)

Along with that we’ve improved the warranty claim process with a new Field Destroy Program. These are effective on new orders placed on/after February 1, 2020.

I have a 2018 Ram 3500 with a BDS 6″ lift kit with Fox 2.0 Shocks, which I purchased from the dealership when I bought the new truck in 2018.
The rear shocks are leaking oil and the front dual steering stabilizers are completely rusted. Please contact me for warranty.
Thx Sean

Hey Sean, I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with your shocks and stabilizers. FOX carries their own warranty on their shocks which is a limited lifetime warranty (1-year replacement). To make a warranty claim you will need to either contact your local BDS dealer or contact our customer service team directly for assistance. You can reach our customer service team at (517) 279-2135 or sales-bds@ridefox.com

It will not, by design our kits are designed to work with the OEM components and will not void the vehicle’s warranty, many dealers run our kits on their trucks right on the lot. That said certain dealers are a bit more particular and have been known to cause some hassle when a lift is installed. A few things to mention, first the Magnuson-Moss Act (they can’t deny warranty without proving how an aftermarket product cause an OEM product to fail). Second, all BDS components are covered by a no fine print warranty so it you break any BDS parts and you are the original purchaser we’re covered. Lastly, all BDS kits include Factory Protection Plus a no additional charge to you which includes a 5yr/100,000mile drivetrain warranty to match the OEM warranty in the event they deny your claim for any reason. More on factory protection plus here.

I have purchased a 3 inch lift and installed on my jeep. Was told to register my lift here for the warranty . Where do I send my invoice?

I have a 2016 f350 with a 6in bds lift it included fox 2.0 shocks. All r leaking. Now I have to replace all them but I don’t feel like giving fox my business what do u recommend

Hey Darren,
I’m sorry to hear you had an issue with your shocks. FOX does offer a limited lifetime warranty (aka 1-year replacement) on their shocks. Depending on your performance needs and driving style FOX does offer some additional shock options that may better meet your needs. Our recommendations would extend to our NX2 twintube shocks as a base shock and the FOX monotube shock options as a higher end option.

Just purchased a 2022 7.3 f250 and I wanted to to put a 10 inch lift that I saw off custom offsets website saying it was a BDS kit. It was silver 2020 f250 but wasn’t sure if it fits, most lifts say 17- current. But also dealer said that my warranty would be voided if I went higher then a 6 inch lift.

Hey Matthew,
A few topics to touch on there.
1) We don’t offer 10″ lift kits for the late model Super Duty. If you saw someone on another site listing something different its either a typo or they modified our kit to sit taller (which we do not recommend doing).

2) Currently we offer up to 6″ for the 2020+ and have 8″ coming soon for the 6.7L diesel models only. Due to the t-case indexing/driveline mods we don’t offer anything taller than 4″ for the 7.3L gas models.

3) While some dealers may try to limit lift heights, technically they can’t limit the lift height to void a warranty without proving the modification was the direct cause of another part failing (Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act). Obviously the suspension warranty is gone being its modified, but we include a no fine print warranty as well as a 5-year/60,000mile drivetrain warranty included with each of our kits known as Factory Protection Plus.

Howzit going! I’m planning on purchasing a BDS lift for my 2019 dodge 2500. Would I need a shop to lift the truck or could I do it myself to retain the warranty of the lift kit?

Hey Todd,
Our warranty is not exclusive to using a shop to install it, you can install the products yourself.

Need a new FRONT shock hoop mount for a 2012 ram 3500 SRW for the drivers side it broke Off at the frame mount, you can see the weld quality was VERY poor. The only thing that held it together was the powder coat.

Justin, sorry to hear you’re having an issue with your kit, our customer service team is available to assist with the warranty replacement. You’ll need to contact them directly (517) 279-2135 or to start your warranty claim. You can also head to your local BDS dealer for assistance with the claim.

Would a problem with the differential or CV joints (seals leaking for instance), be covered under the Factory Protection Plus warranty if a dealership were to deny a claim based on the truck having the BDS 2.5″ lift installed?
