With the deadline of SEMA looming, the build team is starting to feel that all too familiar SEMA crunch as they kick it into high gear to get this build buttoned up and hit the road for Vegas.
The "Project eMoto" F150 started with the idea to create a practical desert hauler, equipped sensibly and with the achievable capability our consumers have come to expect. This begins in the front of the truck with the installation of an off the shelf BDS 6" performance elite coilover system, BDS UCAs all done up in some custom powdercoat. This setup offers strength, ground clearance and next level performance. The guys also opted for the BDS front skid plate and ADD Stealth Fighter front bumpers that house an array of Rigid LED lighting. Finishing touch up front is an LED for emblem from Ford Performance and orange topo graphics to tie in the rest of the graphics to come on this truck.
After taking care of the front of the truck the team moved to the rear, matching capability with the help of that 6" BDS suspension lift and a pair of FOX 2.5 Performance Elite P/B Shocks, and BDS recoil traction bars. It was vital that the rear of this truck retain capability under load, as this suspension is hauling a Highway Products bed tray system, ARB Fridge/Freezer unit, and one of the first Stark Varg eDirt bike in existance.
Stay tuned as the team buttons up this custom Ford just in time for SEMA. We'll be revealing this truck the Sunday before SEMA so be on the lookout for that! Thanks again to all our build partners in Ford, FOX, Ford Performance, Nitto, Method, RCV, Rigid, ARB, and more.
