Colorado ZR2 Wheels Moab | Rockstar Garage
Fresh out of the build shop, Rockstar Performance Garage takes one of their newest projects, the Rockstar Colorado ZR2 out on the trails around Moab to see what these trucks is truely capable of before heading to the SEMA Show 2017 to be on display in the BDS Suspension Booth. This 2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2 is equipped with the 2.8L Duramax diesel, with some custom tuning with the EGR and DPF deleted. Suspension upgrades come from BDS Suspension with a prototype 5.5″ IFS System featuring FOX 2.5 DSC Coilovers up front and 2.0 external bypass shocks in the rear. With Addictive Desert Designs high clearance bumpers and trimmed fenders this truck clears 37×12.50 Mickey Thompson MTZ P3 tires on 17×9 XD Machete beadlock wheels. BDS Project SD126 Build Update 5
To catch up on Episode 1 / Episode 2 / Episode 3 / Episode 4 of the Project SD126 Build, click the links. After a couple months designing, cutting, building and modifying the truck was delivered to Butler Auto Body to get painted and the suspension parts were sent to powdercoat. At first there is a weird sense of anxiety and relief as the build is out of our hands at the moment and in the capable hands of Butler Auto Body to lay down some color. That relief quickly changed to work as the team is also responsible for designing and building all the new product displays and both props needs for our booth (#30192) at the 2017 SEMA Show.
