BDS at the Chicago Auto Show
Its that time of year, not long after the ball drops to usher in the new year you’ll find convention halls across the country are filled with the latest offerings from automakers for public consumption, even some cool concepts to show each brand’s potential. Held in the windy city each February, this marked the 110th edition of the Chicago Auto Show. Known as the nation’s largest auto show, this event is held at the McCormick Place Complex sprawling over 1 million sq.ft. of exhibit space to show off the latest cars, trucks and concept vehicles from all the biggest auto manufacturers. From Monster trucks and 6×6 beasts, to trucks on tracks and hotrod trucks, there was no shortage of concepts on hand for the public to check out. 2017 F350 Dually | ORO-Fab
Don Fenton and his crew at Off Road Outlaw Fabrication in Lexington, NC came to the 2017 SEMA Show to make a statement. They’ve built some cool builds in the past, but they pulled out all of the stops on this 2017 Ford F350 Super Duty Dually Diesel. Among the laundry list of mods this truck features a BDS 8″ 4-Link DSC Coilover System with BDS dual stabilizers and Recoil traction bars, Magnum uFit bumpers-grille-steps, and 40″ Toyo M/Ts on 22″ Mayhem wheels. Power Auto Media Stops By Ford Booth for SD126
Power Auto Media (home to Diesel Army, Xtreme Offroad and other great titles) stopped by the Ford Booth at SEMA to check out our latest creation, Project SD126. This brand new 2017 Ford F250 Super Duty was on the main stage where it entertained the masses the entire week of SEMA. 2017 Winter 4×4 Jamboree Recap
One wintertime event that has exploded with turnout these in recent years is the Winter 4×4 Jamboree in Hurricane, UT. The three day event held earlier this month brought out everything from full size trucks to Jeeps, custom comp buggies and everything in between to hit the trails and obstacles around the Sand Hollow State Park. With more than 600 rigs in attendance this year, the turnout nearly doubled last year’s attendance. With the dates set, we loaded up and heading to UT with sister company JKS Mfg to check out what this event is all about. On day one we discovered that Sand Hollow has a great mixture of sand and rock, but we couldn’t resist our temptation to go get a little crazy in the dunes. 35th Anniversary Indy 4Wheel Jamboree
Wow, what a weekend! BDS took the short trip drive down from our home offices Michigan to meet up with thousands in Indianapolis for the Fall 4Wheel Jamboree Nationals. Held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, this year marked the 35th Anniversary of the event as thousands made their way to Indy for 3 days (and nights) of  the  four wheel drive festival. Despite some rain on Saturday, the weekend was filled with fun activities for the whole family. Activities included monster truck racing and freestyle, tough truck and UTV racing, burn out competition, show-n-shine, FOX proving grounds and massive vendor show. BDS was on site all weekend long hanging out in a killer spot just outside of the grand stands with sister company Zone Offroad and local dealer Elite Auto Image.
