The 4wheeing trip of a lifetime and if you’re up to the challenge of a weeklong hardcore offroad adventure its one you should have on your bucket list. The Ultimate Adventure hosted by 4Wheel & Offroad Magazine is a weeklong 1200-mile 4wheeling trip across multiple states with about 25 rigs split between magazine staff, sponsors and selected readers. No trailers or support vehicles, you need to be self sufficient with tools, spare parts, and food for the journey. Its a mystery what each day of the trip will bring as you follow Rick Pewe on the route he mapped out. Well, the 2015 edition of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show is in the books and no sooner are the manufacturers and builders returning home to start planning for the 2016 show. This industry only show boasts something for every automotive enthusiast, from hotrodders to racers, lifted trucks, lowrider, powersports to restoration. The 4-day show is held at the beginning of November each year bringing in around 100,000 buyers/shops from around the world to check out the latest aftermarket parts from over 1000 vendors. Even the OEMs have gotten involved with the SEMA Show setting up large booths with cool concept rides, product demonstrations and more. This is BDS’s 7th year attending the industry show and each the show gets bigger, pushing the limits, and more over the top with manufacturers stepping up to wow the attendees with over-the-top builds, new technology and the latest innovations. It has been a busy couple months with the BDS team on the road weekly attending events from coast to coast, new truck models rolling into dealer lots that need kit development, and the company continuing to grow to keep up with production demands. Come October, the final month leading up to the annual SEMA Show, the R&D team is busy getting into prep mode for the pinnacle event on our show schedule each year. Between building displays to showcase new products, overhauling new vehicles with new suspension designs, bumpers, lighting, paint, and accessories to drive out and put on display and keeping up with the day-to-day operations the R&D team stays busy. The marketing team keeps busy coordinating all the sponsored vehicles that will be on display, working on promotional materials, signage, organizing the booth, editing promotional videos and prepping the new catalogs to hand out. The rigs are ready, the displays are prepped. BDS is hitting the road for the 2000+ mile road trip out to Vegas for the 2015 SEMA Show November 3-6. Along with prepping the booth displays, prepping new products, and scheduling meetings for the week of SEMA, this year the BDS team is working on a last minute truck build to serve as one of the featured booth vehicles for us at the show. While SEMA is full of over the top builds, crazy paint jobs and and more LED lights than one could ever need, the BDS team was looking to build a capable, practical, and  reliable truck that is at much at home on the trail as it is on the road.
