BDS hits the road for a weekend full of offroad events
There’s a lot going on this weekend if you like lifted trucks. BDS is hitting the road for a busy weekend for offroad events including Blessing of the Jeeps up in Michigan, East Coast Truckin’ Nationals in Virginia, and OK 4WD’s Open House over in New Jersey. Come out and hang with the BDS crew and take advantage of the special offers. Other events going on via the BDS event calendar this weekend will play host to East Coast Truckin’ Nationals, OK 4WD’s Open House, Blessing of the Jeeps, Rock Spyder 4×4’s Open House, the Springfield 4Wheel Jamboree, Bluegrass 4×4’s Mawl Crawl, and the Ultra 4 Cinco De Baja Race. Team Desert Concepts heads to Cinco De Baja Race
BDS-sponsored off-road race team Desert Concepts is finished up the car and is making their way to Albequerque, New Mexico for the Ultra 4 Cinco De Baja Race this weekend. After a stellar 2nd place in class finish at the Mint 400 the team heads out for another weekend of extreme desert racing. Here’s some shots of the car over the past few days as the team preps the rig. We’ll have updates from the event as the #4454  takes on the competition in this Ultra 4 Western Regional Series race. Coldwater, MI – April 30, 2012 – Now in its second season, Off-Road Overhaul continues to seek out deserving 4×4 owners and make over their rides with a slew of aftermarket products. After the buildup, host Mike Duval takes the rig and its proud owner out for some 4wheeling to test it all out. Watch tonight as they overhaul a 2006 Jeep Wrangler with the help of BDS Suspension and others. What’s on the table for this Jeep build… well you will have totune in to find out. BDS Facebook page hits 5000 fans!
In just over 2 years since BDS Suspension launched it’s Facebook Page it has hit the 5000 fan mark and counting! The page has been a sounding board for us helping us reach new customers and hang out with our current customers. It’s been a great additional resource to reach out and provide customer service as well as to showcase what the BDS community does with their trucks. Mint 400 Recap
A few weeks back, the BDS Suspension backed Desert Concepts race team took on the prestigious Mint 400. Over the years the Mint has built a reputation for being one of the toughest desert races in the states bringing the top racers from around the country and beyond to compete. The Mint is more than a race, it’s an experience. In the days prior to event Fremont St. is taken over as offroad racing’s converge on Las Vegas. KOH founder and car owner, Dave Cole piloted the #4454 against the pack of 325 entrants, bringing home a 2nd place in class finish despite having mechanical issues, electrical gremlins, and down right bad luck.  Check out some of the in car footage from the start of the race with Desert Concepts and the #4454 car: And for a  great video of the 2012 Mint 400 action and to get a feel…
A week in the red rocks… 2012 Easter Jeep Safari Recap
Well it’s been about a week since BDS Suspension has made it home from the 46th annual Easter Jeep Safari. The stack of paper on my desk from being out all week is slimming down and I thought it was would be a good time to recap the weeks events filled with photo shoots, magazine events, long days out on the trail, great food & drinks, a huge vendor show and $200,000+ raffled off to event goers. Each year during the week leading up to Easter is taken over by thousands of 4wd enthusiasts looking for some off-road excitement. What started as a way to promote tourism to a new demographic has since developed into the Mecca of off-road with the Red Rock 4Wheelers taking the lead to host the event each year.
