BDS’s weekend at the Dunes
With the summer fading fast BDS loaded up the rigs for one last hurrah at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Mears, MI. Holiday weekends are always a blast bring out the masses as trucks, Jeeps, dune buggies, sand rails and other barely legal oddball creations make. Labor Day in particular has a “Go Big or Go Home” mentality with this being the last chance to wheel their rigs before the cooler weather sets in. BDS made it up for a relaxing weekend with friends and family, days spent on the dunes or at the beach and nights spent around the campfire telling stories. So what are you’re plans for Labor Day weekend? If shopping sales and back to school aren’t your thing, then come hang out with BDS this weekend. If you’re in to off-road racing action, check out the racing action at Crandon International Offroad Raceway  in Crandon, WI for the World Championships. BDS heads North, East, South and West for the weekend
It’s that time of year, with truck shows and off-road events going on each weekend and families trying to get the most out of their summer. From wheeling Project KJ out at the Outback Adventure Park (Pennsylvania) to Trucks Gone Wild (Michigan), BDS Distributor Light Line’s Open House (Louisiana) to the Scheid Diesel Extravaganza (Indiana) and Pismo Beach Huckfest (California), BDS was represented well all around the country as offroad enthusiasts clung to their next to last weekend of freedom before school starts back and the fall season begins. Ultimate Adventure 2013: 1500 Miles Through the Dirty South
If ever an eclectic group of 4wheelers was assembled, the Ultimate Adventure (UA) would be it. Racers, rock bouncers, shop owners, and a pair of Canadians were among those chosen to take on this year’s 1500-mile, 8-day, 4-state 4wheeling fest in the Dirty South. The annual trip gathers roughly 25 rigs for a weeklong 4wheeling road trip around some corner of the country. No trailers allowed on the UA, everyone must carry their own food, spare parts, camping gear, etc Orchestrated by Petersen’s 4Wheel & Off-Road Magazine’s editor-in-chief Rick Pewe, a diverse group of rigs and personalities is assembled ultimately bringing together 6 readers, 12 sponsors, magazine staffers and a film crew for a weeklong off road adventure. Wheeling with Crawl Mag at Rocks and Valleys
We live for the offroad lifestyle. We eat, sleep, and breath it whether at work or on our own time. Camping out, sleeping in tents, trailside wrenching, and making friends out on the trail is what it’s all about. With this past weekend was a great opportunity for us to go 4wheeling with family and friends in a couple of killer rigs. A few of us from BDS Suspension, along with reps from sister companies Zone Offroad Products and JKS Manufacturing, met up at Rocks and Valleys Offroad Park in Harrision, MI, a short 2.5 hour cruise from our home office in Coldwater, MI. Brandon Palaniuk wins at St. Lawrence
Congrats to 25 year old pro angler Brandon Palaniuk for taking home the win on the St. Lawrence River during Bassmaster Elite Series stop #7. This win includes a hefty purse of $100,000 and instant qualification for the 2014 Bassmaster Classic, the Super Bowl in the world of fishing. Brandon’s tow rig is a BDS 4.5” equipped 2013 Toyota Tundra on 35s that hauls his boat and gear to each stop of the series. Congrats on the win Brandon!
