We see a lot of customer rigs at shows around the country. We made our Bad Ass Rides Gallery as a way for you to submit your rides and check out others. If we find rides that stand out and need a more in-depth story we may hit you up to do a feature on it for the BDS Blog. Michigan is typically home to cold, snowy winters which makes for great conditions if you’re into winter activities like ice fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, and winter 4wheeling. This year, however, its been warmer than usual. This winter has seen more rainfall than snowfall and consequently the deep fresh powder just isn’t there. Each winter, around the last weekend in January, the Soldiers of Fortune Offroad club (SoFo) holds a trail riding event known as SnoFari. The event consists of a day and a half of winter wheeling, great food and good people. Celebrating 10 years strong, the event has grown over the years and is limited to around 60 vehicles plus trail guides and sponsors. This was BDS’s 4th year attending and we have a blast each year. Well, the 2015 edition of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show is in the books and no sooner are the manufacturers and builders returning home to start planning for the 2016 show. This industry only show boasts something for every automotive enthusiast, from hotrodders to racers, lifted trucks, lowrider, powersports to restoration. The 4-day show is held at the beginning of November each year bringing in around 100,000 buyers/shops from around the world to check out the latest aftermarket parts from over 1000 vendors. Even the OEMs have gotten involved with the SEMA Show setting up large booths with cool concept rides, product demonstrations and more.
