Project Trucks: CJ’s Vendetta SickSeven If you’re into trucks and active Instagram, chances are you’ve come across photos of CJ Dunlap’s 2013 Ford F250 Super Duty dubbed Vendetta_sickseven in recent months. The truck itself has a following of nearly 55,000 on Instagram and is featured by countless truck pages on a weekly basis. We met up with CJ out in Vegas following the 2014 SEMA Show to get a close up look at this beast and see it in action out in the desert. CJ’s built a few trucks over the years, starting out young at age 16 with a Toyota Tundra before moving up to this Super Duty. His goal all along was to building show worthy trucks and with the Ford he saw the opportunity to turn it into a SEMA-worthy show truck. Project Trucks: Hammerhead Armor RAM
Project Trucks: Hammerhead Armor RAM Hammerhead Armor has been in the business for a number of years, manufacturing quality bumpers and offroad armor for everything from full-size trucks to Jeep applications. Based out of Bay Springs, MS these southern boys build their products right here in USA. In an industry where most manufacturers tout their latest products on decked out company rigs, Hammerhead was in need of a new truck to use for dealer stops and display at events. After getting the green light they picked up a brand spankin’ new 2015 RAM 2500 Cummins and worked on plans to turn it into a bad ass show piece, something capable of performing up to the high standards their bumpers are built to. Initial plans called for a lift kit, larger wheels and tires, body armor, and performance mods and with that Project Armament was born. The first step to this truck’s transformation was the body armor. A Hammerhead pre-runner…
Project Trucks: AirAid’s EcoBoost Ford F150
Project Trucks: AirAid’s EcoBoost Ford F150 Brian Paravicini has been building trucks for nearly 2 decades. His portfolio of builds started out with a lowered truck on monsterous (at the time) 20” wheels and over the years has evolved into a passion for all things automotive. As sales manager of AirAid, Brian gets his fix of performance vehicles, big horsepower and the automotive aftermarket. For his latest built Brian wanted to build a truck capable of offroad chase duties while still being comfortable on the street, something that wouldn’t scare the valet driver if he passed the keys off to a during night out on the town.  Brian decided on the blue oval and picked himself up a 2013 Ford F150 4WD with the 3.5L twin turbo V6 EcoBoost engine putting out a healthy 365hp/420tq from the factory. With Brian’s position at AirAid, he had the resources to turn this EcoBoost into a screamer. He found the ticket was…
