Upgrade your 2020 Chevy/GMC HDs factory stamped steel arms to these performance upper control arms from BDS Suspension. Specially designed for leveled and lifted applications, these arms are built from high strength 1.5" OD x .120-wall steel tubing and feature an indexed ball joint cup to correct the ball joint positioning. These UCAs can be used with BDS 6.5" lift kits and other lift and leveling kits on the market. The frame mounting ends feature durometer-specific rubber bushings. At the other end premium quality ball joints for smooth, quiet operation, and superior durability to arms that feature uniballs, poly bushings or heims. These upper control arms come finished in a durable semi-gloss black powder coat and include a billet aluminum machined ball joint dust cap. They integrate a mounting tab for the factory brake lines so there's no need to zip tie the lines as is the case with other kits on the market. The control arms come fully assembled for easy install right out of the box compatible with most leveling and lift kits on the market to increase wheel travel. Also included with the UCAs are a pair of optional weld-on steering stops plates (if necessary) and a wheel spacer to allow installation of the factory wheel in the event the OE wheel needs to be installed.       Hey Ryan, We have a 2021 HD in the shop right now for test fit to confirm all kits/accessories carry over from the 2020 models. While we don’t expect any issues, our #121304 UCAs for the 2020 HDs are on the list to check before officially listing on our website for 21 models

    When do you guys think you will have the coil over setup out for the 2020-2021 GMC 2500/3500 trucks, and will these arms work with that kit? I already have your 6.5 setup on my truck now want to upgrade my upper arms until the coil over parts are available.

      We’ve had some delays with rolling out the coilover conversions for the late model HDs, but they are in the works to to release in the coming months. These UCAs will be compatible with the coilover conversion to upgrade your current setup.

    Im curious why these are not recommended for 5″ lift kits but are ok for 6.5″ kits?
    Also, I bought a truck with kryptonite upper control arms already installed. am I going to have to change them out or will your coilover kit work with them?

      Hey Steve, ultimately the reason they are not recommended on stock height or 5″ lift kits has to do with the indexing of the ball joint cup on these arms. The cup is indexed to correct ball joints back to the neutral position based when the arms operate at an angle similar to a leveling kit. If used at stock height there is the potential to overextend the ball joints at full compression. Our 5″ and 6.5″ kits used the same base components which drops the crossmembers and other suspension/steering/driveline geometry roughly 5″ causing the suspension geometry (and UCA operating angles) to be similar to stock whereas the 6.5″ kit has operating similar to a leveling kit.

      I don’t have experience with the Kryponite UCAs to say whether or not you’d run into a similar issue at 5″ of lift, but can recommend cycling the suspension during install prior inserting the torsion bars to check upper ball joint angle during full compression.
