BDS heads to EJS and Jeep Beach in April 2014
After a few month winter hibernation show season is upon us and ramping back up for 2014. With a few events under our belt already, BDS is prepping for a busy April as we head west for the 48th Annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. We have a number of activities plans, trail rides and special events planned for while we’re out there (see below). Following the weeklong 4wheeling and vendor show around the red rock terrain the crew from BDS is loading up and heading east to make it in time for the Jeep Beach in Daytona Beach, FL during the following week. Wrangler JK | Boondock Bumpers

BDS Kicks Off 2014 Show Season with SnoFari this weekend
BDS kicks off the 2014 Show Season with SnoFari this coming weekend. This annual event hosted by the Soldiers of Fortune Offroad Club (SoFo) brings out roughly 80 rigs for 2 days and nights of snowy 4wheeling around West Branch, MI. From budget built daily drivers to one-off customs there are rigs of all kinds out wheeling the snowy trails. We’ve looking forward to hanging out with old friends and making new ones. This marks the 8th annual event and will be held Friday January 24th through Saturday January 25th. BDS will be there in Project KJ, our 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD on 40s for the 4wheeling festivities. As with each year they will hold a banquet dinner Saturday night for everyone in attendance to grub out, share photos, and take home some of raffle items donated by event sponsors, BDS included. The Super Trucks JK isn’t bashful. On display in American Force’s booth at the 2013 SEMA Show, this 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is flashy, fast and above all else, its extremely capable. Built by Matt Bolen and Brad Spearing at their shop in Naples, FL this project JK dubbed “Prodigy” showed up at SEMA with mixed reviews. Hanging out over in Rhino Rack’s booth was this super cool 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK owned by Gene Martin out of Las Vegas, NV. While it might not be the biggest at the show, this commando green JK is practical and pulls double duty as both daily driver and weekend warrior hitting trails around the Vegas landscape.
