BDS’s Project Truck: 2013 Ram 3500
The time has come, after several years of proud service, a few catalog covers, and envy from thousands of truck owners, BDS is preparing to sell the BDS Dodge, our 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Diesel Truck on 40s. The plan, to replace it with the latest release from Ram Trucks, a 2013 Ram 3500 Cummins with the new radius arm front suspension. We picked ours up a few months back and have been using it as a test mule for a variety of new products to hit the market. With SEMA right around the corner the plan is to turn our new truck into a show worthy hauler, acting as both tow rig for our rigs and displays as well as a show piece in its own right. Off-Road Expo This Weekend!
Off-Road Expo This Weekend! The one and only Off-Road Expo runs this weekend in Pomona, CA. The annual gathering of all things dirt, rocks, and race brings together thousands from around the off-road industry including vendors, celebrities, and enthusiasts for the 2-day event Saturday October 5th and Sunday October 6th, 2013. The Pomona Fairflex plays host to the crowds of 60,000+ come to experience the sites and sounds of Off-Road Expo. From off-road racing to rock crawling, trail riding to sand sports, to motorcycles and ATV’s, to camping and adventure travel, Off-Road Expo has something to peak your interest. Thousands of cool rides will be on display as well as TV and racing celebrities to hang out with. BDS Suspension will be among the 300+ vendors on site for the show. Indy 4Wheel Jamboree Nationals Recap
September 24, 2013: As the weather starts to cool off and summer turns to fall each year, the 4Wheel Jamboree Nationals roll into Indianapolis, IN for one last hurrah of the off-road show series. For many, its their last chance to show their rigs for the year, whether in the show-n-shine, tough truck races, burnout competition, or on the dyno. BDS was on site for the week of activities as the Indiana State Fairgrounds were overrun for 3-days of high octane entertainment. With more than 4500 vehicles and nearly 15,000 4×4 enthusiasts on site to all the excitement. The grand stands were the place to watch the monster trucks racing, freestyle, and mud drags, while many came to check out all the rigs on display around the fairgrounds. From Indy to Cali. BDS Cross Country Road Trip
BDS hits a lot of shows each year, from East Coast to West Coast and Gulf Coast to Canada the BDS fleet rack up the miles. After a late night return last night from the Indy 4Wheel Jamboree (recap to follow), BDS is loaded back up for an early morning departure for the next batch of shows. The guys are heading west in route to Pomona, CA for Off-Road Expo October 5-6. They’ll be making their away across the country in a new BDS equipped 2014 GMC Sierra with the BDS KJ in tow. With a few stops planned and plenty of great 4wheeling terrain along the way, keep an eye out they may be stopping in your area.
Crandon World Championships
Crandon is one of those special places. The sights, the sounds, the feeling of being just feet from a herd of 700+ hp short course trucks coming around the corner at the Big House. Now Crandon International Off-Road Raceway on Labor Day weekend when the World Championship Racing is in town, how could you pass up on an event like that. Well we couldn’t resist either so BDS loaded up for the weekend of racing and made our way north our of Michigan for Crandon, WI. The Big House, as its known, had a sold out crowd as the show came to town. The air was filled with high octane excitement as race fans came to cheer on their favorite drivers. BDS head to the the Indy 4Wheel Jamboree this weekend
The 32nd Annual Indianapolis 4Wheel Jamboree Nationals is this weekend. 4500+ trucks, Jeeps, and other 4x4s are expected as the Indiana State Fairgrounds are taken over for 3 days of 4wheel entertainment! The event runs September 20-22,2013 with this year’s activities including monster truck racing-freestyle-rides, tough truck racing, mud drags, burnout contests, show-n-shine competition, huge vendor show and bikini contests. Bring the family and enjoy a weekend full of 4wheel activities. BDS Suspension will be on site all weekend debuting a number of new products, cool trucks, great specials all weekend.
