2013 Ford F250/F350 Lift Kits

Coldwater, MI—April 2, 2013—BDS Suspension is now shipping suspension lifts for the 2013 Ford F250/F350 Super Duty trucks. Available in 1″, 2″, 4″, 6″, and 8″ lift heights, these new kits are designed to improve the performance, functionality, and curb appeal of your late model Ford while retaining the handling characteristics owners have come to expect.

The 1″ and 2″ leveling kits utilize a pair of machined 6061 aluminum lower coil spacers to retain the factory ride quality and handling characteristics while allowing for 33″ tires to be installed. BDS-5500 and Fox 2.0 performance shocks are available to upgrade the factory units.

4″ and 6″ lift kits are available to clear 35-37″ tires, respectively. Diesel/gas engine specific Pro-Ride coil springs offer the correct spring rate for improved ride quality and proper lift height. These kits utilize a pair of 1/4″ thick drop brackets to reposition the stock radius arms for stock-like handling characteristics. A heavy duty track bar bracket recenters the front axle and mimics the new steering angles created by the forged pitman arm to eliminate bump steer issues seen with other kits. Also included is sway bar relocation, brake line extensions, bump stop extensions, new steering stabilizer mount, front and rear shocks, and your choice of rear block kit or replacement Glide-Ride leaf springs.

Stepping up the standard 4″ and 6″ lift kits, BDS Suspension offers 4-link conversion kits to improve the handling and on/off-road performance. The 4-link design improves ground clearance while reducing caster change to less than 1 degree throughout wheel travel. Heavy duty 4-link brackets and massive 2″ x .250 wall DOM tubular upper and lower greaseable control arms are included. These systems also integrate Pro-Ride coils, steering correction, sway bar relocation, brake line extension, your choice of available shocks and multiple rear lift options to level the stance.

Using the popular 4-link design, BDS offers the 8″ suspension lift kit able to clear 38″ tires and give you a new perspective on or off the road. The system includes longer upper and lower DOM tubular control arms, diesel/gas engine specific 8″ Pro-Ride coil springs, forged pitman arm, heavy duty track bar relocation bracket, bump stop extension, sway bar relocation, brake line extension, steering stabilizer mount, rear Glide-Ride leaf springs, and multiple front/rear shock mounting options.

Coldwater, MI—March 29, 2013— After more than a year of development and testing, BDS Suspension is proud to announce the next generation of Jeep control arms is now available for popular Jeep JK, TJ, XJ, MJ, WJ and ZJ applications.

BDS now offers the arms with the option of vulcanized rubber bushings or dual fluted greaseable urethane bushings. The new rubber bushing are durometer specific, OEM quality vulcanized Cleavite rubber bushings for improved longevity and reduced noise. The new arms come preinstalled with rubber bushings and larger 1-3/4″ diameter .250 wall formed control arms. Optional replacement urethane bushings are available separately.

Arms come in fixed lengths with rubber ends or adjustable length utilizing BDS’s new forged flex end (view Forged Flex End press release). The new forged steel flex ends utilize a single sided snap ring design steel ball/polyurethane race construction. Housings are e-coated black and come assembled with grease fittings and black e-coated jam nuts pre-installed.

The new BDS control arms come fully assembled and sold in pairs. They also come standard in new BDS long arm and short arm lift kits, see specific kit applications for more information.

Coldwater, MI—March 29, 2013— BDS Suspension now offers an expanded line of products with the custom builder in mind. New steel forged control arm ends and matching weld in bungs will fill out any custom control arm build sheet. These parts are also included in the next generation of BDS control arms.

New BDS forged steel control arm ends utilize a steel ball and polyurethane races to allow up to 15 degrees of misalignment from center. They are assembled with a single snap ring. Housings are e-coated black and are sold completely assembled and ready to use. Grease fittings and black e-coated jam nuts are included with each end.

Forged flex ends are available in 2 popular sizes. The larger ends use the industry standard 1-1/4″-12 threads. Threads are 4″ long to provide plenty of adjustability without sacrificing thread engagement. The smaller ends use 1″-14 threads and are 3-1/2″ long. These “small” ends boast some of the largest threads in the industry. If custom mounts are not in your future, each of these ends come loaded with common Jeep sized flex balls to allow use in nearly all Jeep OE mounting locations.

Designed to match the BDS forged flex end custom project, BDS now offers weld-in bungs.  The larger bung utilizes 1-1/4″-12 threads and is designed to be welded into 1.5″ ID tubing.  BDS offers two smaller bung sizes with 1″-14 threads, one fits 1-3/8″ ID tubing and the other fits 1-1/4″ ID tubing.

The large and small black e-coated jam nuts are available along with forged flex end rebuild kits.

Coldwater, MI—March 14, 2013— BDS Suspension now offers a simple solution to adjusting ride height of the Fox Racing 2.5″ Coil-Overs offered in BDS Performance Lift Systems with a new coil-over spanner wrench. This unique tool design fits the adjustment collar of the Fox Racing coil-overs and accepts any 1/2″ drive ratchet or breaker bar. The ratchet allows the spanner wrench to function in multiple positions for easier use in IFS setups.

The spanner wrench uses a pin-style design that is precision machined to fit in the Fox adjustment collar holes.  This precise fit provides the best grip and reduces the chance of damage to the tool, adjustment collar and your knuckles.

2013 Ford F150 2wd/4WD Lift Kits

Coldwater, MI—March 6, 2013—Now available from BDS Suspension, 2.5″, 4″, 6″, and 6” performance series lift kits for the 2013 Ford F150. These systems improve the performance and looks of your late model Ford while retaining the handling characteristics owners have come to expect.

The 2.5″ leveling kit brings together a new top strut mount spacer and pre-load spacer for improved ride quality and cornering performance while allowing for up to 35″ tires. Unlike other leveling kits on the market, this 2-piece system won’t max out the upper ball joint during suspension travel. One inch rear block kit and rear shocks are also available.

The 4″ suspension lift kit utilizes a pair of one-piece 1/4″ steel crossmembers, CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles, differential supports (4wd kits), differential skid plate (4wd kits), upper strut mount, bump stop extensions, sway bar relocation, new cam bolts, and billet aluminum driveshaft spacer. In the rear a BDS offset pin block kit recenters the rear axle in the wheelwell, while a brake line extensions and your choice of rear shocks round out the kit allowing for up to 35″ tires to be installed.

The 6″ system utilizes many of the same components available in the 4″ system, the heavy duty crossmembers, over built steering knuckles compliant with factory traction control parameters, differential and sway bar relocation, driveshaft spacer as well as includes replacement replacement gas charged struts, replacement 5″ offset pin block kit (eliminates OE block and recenters axle) and includes your choice of BDS 5500 or Fox 2.0 shocks. This system will clear up to 37″ tires.

Finally, BDS offers the 6″ Performance Series System that upgrades the standard 6″ lift kit with Fox 2.5 remote reservoir coil-overs, new reservoir mounts, and rear Fox 2.0 shocks for the ultimate in off-road handling and performance. Coil-overs come pre-tuned to provide 6″ of lift right out of the box, however are height adjustable as well as rebuildable allowing room for up to 37″ tires.

The Fox Racing 2.5″ remote reservoir coil-overs feature:

  • Smooth-bore, clear coated, zinc plated alloy body
  • Black anodized 6061-T6 billet aluminum mounting components
  • 7/8″ hard chrome plated heat treated alloy steel shaft
  • High flow piston design with specially formulated race oil
  • External reservoir separates shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen
  • Easy bolt-on installation, coil spring preload set for proper ride height right out of the box
