Extang is a name synonymous with quality truck accessories. Specializing in series of tonneau covers within the Truck Hero truck accessories family, they have been manufacturing bed covers for over 30 years. We, here at BDS Suspension, have been running Extang on our trucks for years and love the features of their removable tonneau covers when packing out rigs for shows and weekend outings. When it came time to build a truck for the 2014 SEMA Show, the crew at Extang came up with a plan to overhaul a brand new 2015 Ford F150, which at the time was still months away from being released to the general public. This new gusseted support bracket has all the strength of the former weld-in support plate, now in an easy to install bolt-in design to speed up installation and eliminate the need for any welding during installation.

SEMA Trucks: Diamond Eye’s F150 Each year the SEMA Show is flooded with amazing automobiles, lifted trucks, lower street rods, resto-mod classics and late model monsters all in the name of automotive customization. There’s something for everyone’s taste from the insane over-the-top to capable daily drivers. BDS Suspension attends this annual show out in Las Vegas and continues to make quite the statement with show vehicles scattered throughout the show grounds on display in exhibitor booths and featured vehicle spots. The crew from Diamond Eye Performance always show up at SEMA with great looking trucks, from monster diesels to performance gassers. This year they continued that trend with trucks throughout the show and a gorgeous 2012 Ford F150 Ecoboost on display in their booth. PRESS RELEASE #116 4″ Lift Kit— 2009-2012 Ford F150 View kit online Coldwater, MI—January 23, 2012— BDS Suspension has expanded its suspension options for the late model 2009-2012 Ford F150 trucks. In addition to the existing 2.5″ and 6″ suspension lift kits, BDS now offers a 4″ suspension lift allowing clearance for up to 35” tires while improving the overall ride and handling. Based on the popular high clearance kit design, the 4″ lift includes a pair of one-piece, 1/4” laser cut crossmembers tied together by the differential skid plate to improve ground clearance and off-road protection. New CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles maintain proper steering and ball joint geometry and work congruently with the vehicle’s factory traction control system.
