TORC Races at Crandon
Offroad racing is one of those things that become an obsession. Whether you’ve been to one race or you’ve lost count, there’s something about the rumble of the purpose build race truck putting down 900hp, screaming around the dirt track, throwing up roosts, launching off  kickers. BDS wanted a taste of the action so we loaded up and hit the road this past weekend heading north to Crandon, WI for the TORC Series races. With multiple classes racing throughout the weekend, there wasn’t a shortage of high-octane action as Stock, PRO Light, PRO Buggy, PRO 4×4, and Formula 4×4 rigs took to the track at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway. Between heats the grounds were filled with truck tuning in the pits, sponsors giving out swag, and Traxxis RC trucks to race. Final Prep Before the 2013 Ultimate Adventure
The final 72 hours were a mad rush to get the KJ prepped and ready for the 2013 Ultimate Adventure. Paint, suspension, wiring, body panels and graphics went on in a hurry as the guys began to see the light at the end of the tunnel. While the long days, paint fumes and and diesel smoke may of had some bearing on them, the crew persevered to get the Jeep up and running in time for the 1200mile scramble to the startpoint of UA. Dave and Carter hit the road for the 2013 Ultimate Adventure hosted by Petersen’s 4Wheel & Off-Road Magazine. BDS Ram 2500 Long Arm Kit Install in Off-Road Magazine BDS’s 6” and 8” Long Arm Kits for the late model (’03-12) Ram 2500/3500s has been a popular kit since its redesign a few years back. The stout upper/lower 4-link brackets create a solid mount for the new longer control arms. The kits come complete with a variety of options from multishocks and rear leaf springs, to Fox 2.0 shock upgrades and soon to be a heavy duty adjustable track bar. RPM Offroad Open House Recap
BDS Suspension made it down to Bristol, TN for the 2nd Annual RPM Offroad Open House which turned out once again to be a great success. With beautiful weather and the slate of activities planned the crew from RPM had something fun for the whole family. From dozens of race trucks out on display to live dyno testing out in front of the shop the horsepower junkies were kept appeased. Hundreds made their way out to the shop for the day taking advantage of special deals and to get an inside look at the shop. BDS Suspension and other vendors set up inside the garage area to meet customers and show off new products. Around the shop were  multiple race trucks including the checkered flag winning Baja 500 truck that was driven by RPM Owner Justin Matney and the Baja 1000 winning truck that was driven by Juan Carlos Lopez.…
Bullhide 4×4 Open House
This past weekend BDS Rep Ted Yearling made the trip out to Fort Collins, CO for Bullhide 4×4‘s Open House. We love the opportunity to get out of the office and check out what our BDS distributors are up to around the country. Scott Butters from Bullhide 4×4 runs great operation and does a tremendous job supporting the community in and around Fort Collins. When we got the invite to come for the event we jumped at the chance to hang out and support our dealer and talk to customers. The crew from Bullhide 4×4 put on a great show with a number of vendors on site, local 4×4 clubs hanging out and special offers all day long. WIth great weather all day, attendance was up and many customers came by to ask questions, sharing stories, and stopping by to show off their trucks and Jeeps. A great show and…
